Can you give to a carer family in need this Christmas?

Christmas can be a difficult time for carers.

Many households struggle financially. Not only do people have to give up work (or reduce hours) to care, carer households often have extra costs like specialist equipment and higher bills. This means there’s very little left for ‘extras’ like Christmas, including gifts for children.

Other carers are very isolated, coping on their own with the person they care for, with little support, or company, and face a very lonely festive period.

Could you donate a gift?

Could you help make a carer’s Christmas and donate a gift?

You might wish to do this yourself, or encourage your family or colleagues to donate with you?! We’d be very grateful.

Gifts go to our most in need carers – identified by our staff – from people under pressure caring alone, to families struggling to make ends meet.
